Eric graduated from the University of Iowa and is a long time resident of Cedar Rapids. He attends First Lutheran Church and is active in various civic groups in the community. In his free time, Eric enjoys golfing, boating and spending time with his wife Andi and three children, Grace, Graydon and Wynnston.

Joe Eagle, Family Service Representative Email: eagle@murdochfuneralhome.com Office Phone: 319.377.1553 Joe Eagle is a family service representative for the Murdoch Funeral Homes and Cremation Center. Joe mainly serves the Marion, Central City & Manchester areas. Joe, originally from Washington, Iowa, attended Upper Iowa University and married Jeane Hutchins of Marion in 1980. They have two children, Rachel who teaches for the Linn-Mar school district and Travis who is a recent Mt. Mercy College graduate.  On top of spending time with his children and their spouses, Joe enjoys spending time with his new grandson, Brooks. Joe is the owner of Charity Services, Inc. of Cedar Rapids and is a member of the Knights of Columbus and Indian Creeke Country Club. He enjoys family activities, golf, hunting and cooking.

She was born and raised in Monticello, Iowa, attended Monticello High School, Kirkwood and Peosta Colleges. She is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. Maureen has worked closely with Hospice patients and their families since 1996. She resides in Delhi, and is the mother of two children, Jason and Jamie. In her spare time she enjoys being with family, especially her chidlren and close friends, cooking, reading and traveling.

Bethel Sylvester, Organist/After Care Program Director Email: bsylves@murdochfuneralhome.com Office Phone: 319.377.1553 or 319.364.1549 Bethel Sylverster is an organist and after care program director for the funeral homes and has been with the firm for many years. She has developed a program for teens in grief called Young Adult Grief Support. Bethel lives in the Alburnett-Toddville-Marion area and is married to Larry Sylvester. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, reading and being with family and friends.
