    Bruce A. Quint

    March 9, 1984 - June 7, 2022

Bruce Alexander Quint, child of God, died early on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Bruce was born on March 9, 1984, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Steven and Ingrid (Anderson) Quint. He graduated from West Delaware High School and went to Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa for Horticulture. Bruce met Sabina Klein at college, and they were married on August 11, 2007, at the Peace Lutheran Church in Ryan. Bruce was an incredible father to three wonderful children whom he adored, Phinehas, Areli, and Hannah; a loving husband to Sabina; a beloved son to Steve and Ingrid; an amazing brother to Joseph (Nicole), Minna (Nathaniel), and Katrina; and a fantastic uncle to Gabriel, Conor, and Ada. Bruce loved his grandmother, Mary, father-in-law Bill Klein, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bruce’s children and wife were his pride and joy. He loved every adventure they embarked upon together. Bruce loved music especially sharing it with his brother, Joe. He loved running, and all things outdoors. Landscaping with his mom was one of his favorite pastimes and they had some of the best times together on their jobsites. Bruce was known as a Plantsman and knew plants better than God himself. Bruce truly loved all his neighbors, both human, and animal. He loved his family, friends, and customers dearly. Bruce had a goofy sense of humor and gave out the best nicknames. He had a smile for every person he met and treated every day as a gift. Bruce always gave more than 100% to everything he did. He was faithful, loved God, and his church community. Bruce is missed beyond words. Nothing will replace the love and joy he brought to all of our lives. We cling to the promises of life eternal with our Savior Jesus Christ. We love you Bruce and will miss you forever. Visitation for Bruce will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Funeral Service will be held outdoors, 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2022, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manchester with the Reverend Tony Ede officiating. Burial will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Ryan, Iowa. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. Please share a memory of Bruce at www.murdochfuneralhome.com under obituaries.
