Victoria C. Leach, 90, a resident of Northbrook Care Center, died Sunday, December 26, 2010. Graveside Gathering: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two nephews, Wayne (Jan) Karr and LeRoy (Diane) Karr; two nieces, Georgia Anne Kazimour O’Keefe and Win Fiala; great-nephews, David (Mindy) Karr, Steve (Debra) Karr and Ed (Stephanie) Karr; great-niece, Sandy (Bill) Anderson; first cousin, Olga (Wes) Sindelar-Drahozal; and great-great-nieces, Carissa, Kearsten, Kailee and Jessica.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Joe Fiala, Agnes Brewer, Mary Kazimour and Georgia Karr.
Victoria was born December 28, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Sindelar) Fiala, in Bolivar, Missouri. She had a strong love for nature and enjoyed painting. Victoria also enjoyed her involvement with the community theatre, singing and was a member of various musical groups.
