Alice was the cherished wife of Gerald Hayworth. They married on May 25, 1944, in Indiana, and were blessed with more than sixty-one loving years together.
In addition to her husband, Gerald, Alice is survived by two daughters, Marcia Cary and husband Hal of Tucson, Arizona, and Debbie Bowen and husband Rod of Cedar Rapids; and grandchildren, Kim Cary of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Jennilee Cordes and husband Jason and Dan Bowen and wife Elissa, all of Cedar Rapids.
Alice was born July 14, 1921, to Frank and Rosa Blake Branson in Dana, Indiana.
Alice?s joy in life was in giving to others. She was never happier than when fixing homemade chicken and noodles, holding a friend?s hand in the hospital or giving support and encouragement in a difficult situation. Her strong faith sustained her through a lifetime of serious health problems. Her complete confidence in the Lord was an inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing her.
