Anai Lashay Spearman, 27 days, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A visitation will follow from 3 – 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Anai was born July 21, 2022, the daughter of Makenzie Buck and Andrew Spearman, Jr. She was well-loved, perfect, and precious. Anai was truly an angel and had a beautiful smile. She gave the gift of life through the Iowa Donor Network.
Survivors include her mother, Makenzie Buck; father, Andrew Spearman, Jr.; brothers, McKain Greene and Cameron Leidigh; sister, Kenzie Edwards; grandparents, John and Marian Buck, and Kara and Andrew Spearman, Sr.; great-grandfather, Ronald Rathjen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jennie Rathjen; and great-grandparents, Cindy Rathjen, Olivia Buck, John Wright, Mary Spearman, and Shirley and Lawrence Keener.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
