Angela Johnson, 53, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at her home. Services: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where the family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Brother Richard Reed will officiate. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Richard and Janet Johnson; two brothers, Richard (Lisa) Johnson, Jr. and Lewis (Josephine) Craven, all of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Tracy (Michael) Jones of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Gina Gamble of Detroit, Michigan; her aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; and siblings, Tony Kennedy and Tarris Gamble.
Angela was born June 9, 1958, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Robinson) Johnson, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate from Mount Mercy College, Angela worked in customer service for Geico and Toyota. She was a member of the Marion Church of Christ.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Angela.
