Anna greatly enjoyed her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, square dancing, gardening, and her friends made while working at Hinsons, Milroy’s, and FW Means in Waterloo. With loving hands, Anna made many special afghans for anyone who asked. Anna attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansdale, Iowa, where she was always willing to serve wherever she could until 2004, when she moved to Cedar Rapids to be near daughter, Jane.
Anna will always be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her family, her sense of humor, and wonderful smile. She would help anyone at any time and will be missed deeply by all who loved and knew her.
In lieu of flowers please make a memorial in her name to Hospice of Mercy, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansdale, Iowa or Maranatha Bible Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice of Mercy and the staff at ManorCare for tenderly caring for Anna this past year.
