Anne E. Chesney

Anne E. Chesney, 72, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, with Rev. Michael Elmore officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Anne was born November 6, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Zelma (Braton) Chesney. She served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Anne loved horses, cats, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti Herman of Cedar Rapids; son, John King of Virginia; two grandsons, A. J. Herman of Cedar Rapids and Kai Powell of Ohio; brother, Gary (Pam) Chesney of San Jose, California and their sons, Doug and Steve.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents.
