A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion, Betty was active within her community and found deep solace in her faith. She enjoyed walking, which not only kept her active but also provided her with the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of her surroundings. Her culinary skills were renowned among family and friends, as she loved cooking and was known for hosting memorable gatherings filled with laughter and joy. Betty held dear the simple pleasures of life, including playing cards and games with her neighborhood friends. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who remain. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived and lovingly remembered by her four children, Tresa (Warren) Davis of Marion, Daniel (Kimberly) Supple of Rogers, Arkansas, David (Rhonda) Supple of Marion, and Rebecca (Vaude) Wilford of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Jamie (Rachel) Davis of Frisco, Texas, Danielle Supple of Frisco, Texas, Ashley (Jeff) Zierath of Marion, and Blake (Megan) Supple of Cedar Rapids; three step-grandchildren, Zack and Eli Matthess, and Leila Wilford; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Cal, Teddy, and Genevieve; and four siblings, Donald Vanourney of Colorado, Richard (Karen) Vanourney of Central City, Iowa, Frank Vanourney of Marion, and Katy (Gary) Gadient of Delhi, Iowa.
