Beverly Jean Kennedy, 82, a resident of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, Cedar Falls, and formerly of Cedar Rapids, died, Sunday, February 3, 2008, following a long illness. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Duane Hix. The family will greet friends from 5 - 8 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Kennedy and Shelia Koss of Denver, Iowa, and Tom Kennedy of Clarkridge, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Scott, Lisa, Lori, Ben, and Matt; eight great-grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Alexis, Alayna, Alyssa, Jake, Devann, and Vanessa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Kennedy; and four sisters.
Beverly was born April 6, 1925, the daughter of Otto and Mae (Wilson) Motter, in Jefferson, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established in Beverly’s name.
