Brian White, 36, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2 – 8 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2021, with a Scripture Service beginning at 2 p.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Earlville, with the Reverend Dennis Quint officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Earlville. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements. The family is kindly requesting that masks be worn at the Funeral Home and Funeral Mass.
Brian was born April 20, 1985, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of John White and Billie Jo (Dingbaum) Darby. He graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in Delhi, Iowa. Brian owned and operated White Trucking in Earlville. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Beau. They spent many weekends camping, boating, and helping on the farm. They both cherished the time they spent together on day trips in the semi-truck. Brian was also known to enjoy a cold Busch Light with friends.
Brian is survived by his son, Beau White; mother, Billie Jo (Ken) Darby of Cedar Falls, Iowa; father, John (Ann Recker) White of Delhi; siblings, Jaymie (Chad) Feldmann of Cedar Falls, Ben (Jess) White of Polk City, Iowa, Jill (Kevin) Domeyer of Cedar Falls; grandfather, Bill Dingbaum of Hopkinton, Iowa; Beau’s mom, Bridget (Dugan) Uhlenkamp of Earlville; nieces and nephews, Keigan and Paige Feldmann, Teegan and Ty White, Hayley and Morgan Domeyer; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, JoAnn Dingbaum; grandparents, Leo and Olive White; uncles, Dave, Clarence, and Allen White.
