Cecil Jack Bach, 93, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Good Neighbor Home in Manchester, Iowa. Visitation: 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at Hoover Wesleyan Church, Walker, Iowa. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa.
Jack was born February 2, 1932, in Center Point, Iowa, the son of Orval and Bessie (Schonberg) Bach. He graduated from Troy Mills High School. Jack served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Rose Ann Smedley at Hoover Church in 1952. Jack was a lifelong farmer with a passion for tractors. He was even out this past spring plowing the field. Jack was a participant of the WMT Tractor Cade for 25 years, charter member of the Eastern Iowa 2-Cylinder Club, Troy Mills American Legion Post 712 member for 64 years, and a lifetime member of Hoover Wesleyan Church. Jack was a jokester with a wonderful sense of humor, he enjoyed collecting John Deere antique tractors, gardening, and was in a roller-skating club for many years. Above all, Jack loved his family, and he will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his children, Byron (Marta) Bach of Troy Mills; grandchildren, August (Brooke) Bach of Milton, Charlie (Brooke) Bach of Coggon, Jeanne (Nathan) Briggs of Brandon, and Kevin (Michelle) Bach of Troy Mills; ten great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann; sons, Carl and Roger; granddaughter, Stephanie; and parents, Orval and Bessie.
