Charlotte L. Erickson (Rettig)
March 5, 1933 — February 16, 2007
Charlotte L. Erickson, 73, formerly of Baxter, Minnesota, and Springville, died Friday, February 16, 2007, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion from complications of cancer. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Springville Presbyterian Church in Springville, Iowa. Arrangements are by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Kirk) Klamerus of Springville; two grandchildren, Andrew and Allyson Frankenberg of Springville; a brother, Gene Rettig of Jacksonville, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; and two brothers, George and Chuck Rettig.
Charlotte was born March 5, 1933, in Cicero, Illinois, the daughter of George and Francis (Kestle) Rettig. She was united in marriage to Harold Erickson and he died in 1991. Charlotte was employed at Larco Manufacturing in Brainerd, Minnesota, retiring in 1996.
Memorials, in memory of Charlotte, may be given to Springville Presbyterian Church.
