Clyde D. Schultz, 56, of Center Point, died Monday, November 17, 2008, following a long battle with cancer. Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at the Center Point United Methodist Church, by Rev. Mike Ellson and Ken Graham. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008, at Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue; his children, Trent, Drew, both of Cedar Falls and Angelica of Seattle, Washington; two stepdaughters, Angela (Andrew) Naylor of Harrogate, United Kingdom, and Victoria (Jeff) Campbell of Metamora, Michigan; two grandchildren, Madelyn and Lindsay Campbell; his mother, Fern Schultz of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Lyle (Joyce) Schultz of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; an uncle, Fred Schultz of Center Point; an aunt, Vera Meyer of Center Point; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Stanley.
Clyde was born November 21, 1951, the son of Lloyd and Fern (Ritze) Schultz, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate from Kirkwood Community College, Clyde enjoyed farming and was a MOPAR collector. On August 27, 2005, he married Linda Sue Hudson, a childhood friend.
