Cynthia Sue (Glick) Hauk

Cynthia Sue (Glick) Hauk, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with a visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Cynthia Sue Glick was born December 3, 1953, to James and Virginia (Morning) Glick. On April 15, 1978, she was married to David Hauk. Cindy graduated from Anamosa High School in 1972 and worked as a cook at Mercy Hospital for more than 30 years.

Left to treasure Cindy’s memory are her husband, Dave of Cedar Rapids; her sister, Cheryl Glick of Cedar Rapids; as well as her sister-in-law, Pat Cumberlin of Ohio; her brothers-in-law Mike Hauk and Steve (Terry) Hauk; and her nieces, Jennifer Hilton of Cedar Rapids, and Lisa Campbell of Ohio; and her nephews, Dustin Cumberlin of Ohio, and Jarrod Hawk of Waterloo, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Nancy Marsh; brothers-in-law, Tom Hauk and Gary Cumberlin; and her nephew, Jeff Marsh.

Cindy will be missed by all her family and friends who loved her kind heart and funny soul.
