Darrell G. Triplett

Darrell G. Triplett, 74, of Marion, Iowa, died Thursday, March 12, 2026. Per Darrell’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, assisted the family.

Darrell was born September 28, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ralph and Beverly (Scott) Triplett. He graduated from Jefferson High School with the Class of 1969 and later attended Cornell College as a member of the Class of 1972. Darrell founded Triple D Enterprises, a business named after his three sons. He was a member of Springs of Life Church. In his free time, Darrell enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and had a passion for collecting classic model cars and dairy milk bottles.

Survivors include his significant other, Becky White; his children, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Kraft, Doug Triplett, Derek Triplett, and Lawrence Triplett; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Jeffrey (Jean) Triplett and Christopher Singer; and his special friend, Harley “Chuck” Smith.

He was preceded in death by Kathryn Natalie Vik Triplett; his parents, Ralph and Beverly Triplett; three sisters, Hope Triplett, Diane Triplett-Running, and Faith Triplett-Pederson; and two brothers, Duane Triplett and Vernon Triplett.
