Daryl Schultz, 52, formerly of Center Point, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at his home in Cedar Rapids. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include his father, Lyle Schultz (Joyce) of Tennessee; and siblings, Lila (Anthony) Jones of Texas, Gretchen (Skip) Kelley of North Carolina, Krista (Steve) Piraino of Louisiana and Eric (Allison) Schultz of Pennsylvania; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Hicks) Schultz; grandfather, Lloyd Schultz; grandmother, Fern Schultz; and uncle, Clyde Schultz.
Daryl was born on December 14, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, son of Lyle and Mary Schultz. Daryl served in the United States Marine Corps from 1980-1983.
