David Neil Nolan, 45, of 1507 4th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at his home, following a sudden illness. There will be no services. Private burial at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Nolan of Gibson; a sister, Brenda Wilson of Gibson; his companion, Angelina Jones of Cedar Rapids; one niece; one nephew; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Steve and Tommy; a sister, Penni Tweeton; his maternal grandparents, Ed and Dorothy Garvin; and his paternal grandparents, Neil and Dolena Nolan.
David was born June 11, 1963, the son of Leo and Bonnie (Garvin) Nolan, in Davenport, Iowa. He was a self-employed truck driver.
