Debra Denise Grinsell

Debra Denise Grinsell, 67, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Ed and Joan Hemphill Hospice Unit in St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Debra was born December 5, 1950, in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Hartz) Hopper. After graduating from high school she was employed at Linn-Mar School District and Ryans Steakhouse. Debra was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Marion.
She is survived by her brother, Darwin (Jackie) Hopper of Springville, Iowa; four nieces; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and ten great-great nieces and nephews.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents.
