Debra J. Robinson O?Cain, 54, of 6524 Boxwood Lane N.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, May 28, 2006, in her home of pancreatic cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Chaplain Beverly Thompson-Travis. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at the funeral home. Burial: Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa.
Survivors include her soul mate of 10 years, Lloyd "Jake? Heiar of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Velma Mae Robinson of Stanwood, Iowa; and her brother, Jack Robinson, Jr. and wife, Kay of Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Debra was born November 23, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Jack Robinson, Sr. and Velma (Thurston) Robinson. For 26 years she was head buyer for Nash Finch, a profession to which she was very dedicated. Debra collected Boyd?s Bears and mice figurines and enjoyed shopping QVC and Home Shopping Network.
