Dennis E. Dabroski

Dennis E. Dabroski, 72 of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Earlville, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. Arrangements are pending in Bushnell, Florida.
Dennis was born February 1, 1948, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of John and Lois Dabroski. He graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 1966 and Luther College in 1970. Dennis was united marriage to Georgette Yoder on December 26, 1970. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany, serving with the USA Special Security Group. Dennis received his Honorable Discharge with the rank of Sergeant.
Dennis then attained his law degree from Stetson University in Gulfport, Florida. He practiced law for 37 years in St. Petersburg, Florida, until his retirement. He was a generous contributor to the Maquoketa Valley Dollars for Scholars program for many years, in memory of his parents.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Georgette; daughters, Suzanne (James) DeKay, Alexis (Tony) Delisle and five grandchildren all of Gainesville; brother, Doug (Karen) Dabroski of Earlville, Iowa.
