Donald (Donnie) Devere White, Jr., 58, of Eustace, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died February 26, 2012, from injuries sustained in an accident. A Celebration of his Life will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Devere White, III, Dustin Michael White, and Dak White; his daughter, Dee Donegan; grandchildren, Breccia, Brice, Blake, Landon, and Samantha; a great-granddaughter, Zoey; his mother, Ruby Marie Moore; his father, Donald Devere White, Sr. and step-mother, Sharon L. White; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Also surviving are brothers, Ronald (Phyllis) O’Brien, J. Douglas (Debbie) Hallam and John (Marsha) Hallam; sisters, Cindy Williams, Lisa (Rocky) Stovall and Lorie (Larry) Lakey; and his dearest and best, lifelong friend, Robert “Fuzzy” Decker, his wonderful wife JoJo and their kids, Bret and Stephanie.
He was preceded in death by his step-father Richard Neil Moore; brothers, Roger O’Brien and Samuel White; and nephew, Daniel O’Brien.
Donald was born December 17, 1953, the son of Donand Devere White, Sr., and Ruby Marie Buck in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Devere White, III, Dustin Michael White, and Dak White; his daughter, Dee Donegan; grandchildren, Breccia, Brice, Blake, Landon, and Samantha; a great-granddaughter, Zoey; his mother, Ruby Marie Moore; his father, Donald Devere White, Sr. and step-mother, Sharon L.
