Donnie Lee Johnson, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at Greater Word of Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his children, Marcus Johnson, Rockford, Illinois, Erik Johnson, Los Angeles, California, DeAngela Reed, Cedar Rapids, Accho Talbert, Chicago, Illinois, and Cato Johnson, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donnie was born February 23, 1947, the son of Melvin Gibson and Vivian Johnson, in Thornton, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army.
