Edwin Boynton, 96, of Coggon, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, Iowa. Memorial Service:11:00 a.m., Monday, December 27, 2010, at United Parish Church, Coggon, by Rev. Jen Filter. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Fairview Dunkerton Cemetery, Dunkerton, Iowa, at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah; 3 children, Marlys Powlishta, Florenda Burns, and Ray (Julie) Boynton; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Virgil Boynton.
Edwin retired after 25 years of service at National Oats in Cedar Rapids.
