Elizabeth June Biwer (Wolfe)

Elizabeth June Biwer, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, surrounded by her family at The Dennis and Donna Oldorf hospice house following a brief illness. Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Pastor Tim Carter. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Richard (Pat) Biwer, Alice (Arlen) Cummings, James Biwer and Steven Biwer; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; siblings, Isabelle Hollenbeck, LeRoy Wolfe, Beulah Moss and Clifford (Jan) Wolfe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ernest and Edward Wolfe; and daughter, Darlene Slaymaker.
Elizabeth was born on June 13, 1926, in Marion, Iowa, daughter of Gerald and Alice (Colson) Wolfe. She married Norbert Biwer in Clinton, Iowa, on February 14, 1952. Elizabeth was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her faith and family were most important to her. Elizabeth also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her plants.
