Ethel E. “Pat” Jordan, 82, a resident of Silver Pines Assisted Living, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died there Friday, June 4, 2010. Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2010, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include 6 children, Shari (Don) Lovell, Peggy (Don) Berns, Ken (Sue) Jordan, Mike (Ginger) Jordan, Deb (George) Marsh, and Steven (Lu Ann) Jordan; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Harold Goodlove; a grandson, Jonathan Jordan; and 9 brothers and sisters.
Pat was born November 24, 1927, the daughter of Olin Roy and Ethel S.E. (Taylor) Powers, in Tipton, Iowa. She married Earl LeRoy Jordan on January 21, 1947. He died January 9, 1994. Pat loved flowers but the most important thing in her life was her family.
A memorial fund has been established in Pat’s memory.
