Eve V. Burbach

Eve V. Burbach, 90, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Rapids, died Friday, May 5, 2006, at the care center from complications of age. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment: Arlington National Cemetery, at a later date. Arrangements are with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a stepson, Donald (Mary Lou) Burbach of Northglenn, Colorado; a nephew, Robert Hahn of Ely, who she made her home with; and special friends, Karen and Mike Ealy of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; a sister, Roberta; and seven brothers, Kenny, Jack, Dick, Conroy, Harold, Robert and Basil.
Eve was born February 22, 1916, the daughter of Edgar and Alice (Scott) Brown, in West Liberty, Iowa. On April 5, 1937, she was united in marriage to George Burbach in Lincoln, Nebraska. He died February 17, 1982.
