Firmin “Doc” Stallman, 98, of Center Point, Iowa, died Monday, July 13, 2026, at Center Point Heights. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Urbana, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Urbana. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point is assisting the family.

Firmin was born January 20, 1928, on the family farm near Fairfax, Iowa, the son of Charles and Margaret (Schulte) Stallman. He graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School in Fairfax and served honorably in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. On November 19, 1957, he married Barbara Lynne Rundall. Firmin farmed throughout his life and also worked as a test technician at Rockwell Collins until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Urbana, and the Marion American Legion Post 298.

Survivors include his children, Diane (Greg) Coberly, Chuck (Kathy) Stallman, Deb (John) Ironside, Paula Anderson, Amy Berthel, and Mark (Dawn) Stallman; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Margaret Cejka.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Barbara L. Stallman; his parents, Charles and Margaret Stallman; his granddaughter, Grace Stallman; his sisters, Marie, Eleanor, Germaine, and Ida; his brothers, Carl, James, David, Gerald, Robert, and William; and his son-in-law, Edward Koziol.
