Frank Keitch Collette, III, 54, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Ed & Joan Hemphill Hospice Unit within St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Private burial of cremains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Delhi. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester is assisting the family.

Frank was born December 3, 1965, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Frank K. and Judy (Johnston) Collette. He was a 1984 graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School and went on to attend Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa. Frank was employed at Waterfront Restaurant for a number of years and also EFCO in Des Moines as a welder. Most recently, he was employed at Home Depot in Cedar Rapids. Frank loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, trapping and photography. He also enjoyed Hawkeye Football.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Schnittjer of Marion; son, Trace Collette of Pleasantville; brother,Matt (Jenny) Jenatscheck of Marion; nieces, Chloe Jenatscheck of Ames and Hailee Jenatscheck of Marion; step siblings, Sheryl (Dave Sands) Schnittjer of Delhi, Mark (Lynnette) Schnittjer of Delhi, Lori (Mitch) Miller of Colesburg, and Al Schnittjer of Hopkinton; step-nieces and nephews, Dustin (Heather) Schnittjer of Hopkinton, Randi (Alec Ehlinger) Flannagan of Delhi; Shannon (Rod) Heidt of Delhi, Laci (Michael Gilbert) Bennett, of Millheim, Pennsylvania, Lindsay Schnittjer of Delhi, Tabitha Schnittjer of Birmingham, Alabama, Amber Schnittjer of Decorah, and Alanna Schnittjer of Michigan; many great-nieces and nephews; step-aunts and uncles, Sue (Jon) Volz of Palo and John (Dorothy) Schnittjer of Oklahom City, Oklahoma; and ex-wife, Alison Collette of Pleasantville.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank Collette, Jr.; nephew, Austin Goldsmith; step-father, Dave Schnittjer; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
