Fred Aiken, 78, a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Marshalltown Medical Center following a sudden illness. Per Fred’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his children, Deborah Klinger of Delhi, Gary (Sally) Aiken of Sagle, Idaho, Cathy Yoder of Cedar Rapids, and Pam (Tom) Bemisdarfer of Johnston, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, cards and memorials in Fred’s memory may be directed to his family.
