Glenn Allen Wood, 84, formerly of Iowa Falls and Cedar Rapids, a resident of United Presbyterian Home, Washington, died Monday, December 20, 2004, at the home of complications of Pick?s Disease. Services: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Kitch Shatzer. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors by American Legion-Hanford Post #5.
Survivors include his daughters, Judy Graf of Washington and Sue (Duane) Usher of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Robert Wood of Union; five grandchildren, Amanda Olson, Dean Graf, Andi (Scott) Fuemmeler, Abby Usher and Josh Usher; three great-grandchildren, Kurtis Olson, Micah Olson and Marcus Seelau; and a brother in-law, Dick (Marilyn) Green of Iowa Falls.
He was preceded in death by his wife, D. Lorraine; and his parents; a brother, Walter; and a sister, Margaret Wickersham.
Glenn was born December 31, 1919, in Iowa Falls, the son of Herman N. and Mary Roxy (Orcutt) Wood. He served in the Navy as a 1st Class Petty Officer during WWII. Glenn retired from Lefebure where he was an inventory superintendent.
