Guy Alan Stackhouse

Guy Alan Stackhouse, 66, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at home. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.

Guy was born on June 9, 1959, in Bloomington, California, the son of Lester and Alice (DeVault) Stackhouse. He graduated from Anamosa Senior High School, earned an associate degree from Kirkwood Community College, and ultimately received a degree in Software Engineering from Coe College. Guy began his career at S.A. Clark and Associates and went on to work for Rockwell Collins for 20 years until his retirement. He was a proud member of the local railroad club. Guy enjoyed sailing on Lake Superior and was known for his love of tinkering with electronics. Guy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Guy is survived and lovingly remembered by his brother, Clifford Stackhouse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
