Harold Louis Bramer, 84, of 1685 26th Street, Marion, died Saturday, January 6, 2007, in his home following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, by the Rev. John Gossman. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; a daughter, Donna Simmons of Central City; a son, Russell Bramer of Marion; and a sister, Alta Folkers of Olin.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Christopher Simmons and Brad and Jamie Bramer.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Velma Hollingsworth.
Born July 18, 1922, in Jones County, Iowa, Harold was the son of Louis F. and Patria (Thompson) Bramer. Harold and Irene Tefer were united in marriage on June 21, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. He retired from Rockwell-Goss after twenty-two years.
