Harold Allen Stephenson Sr.

Harold Allen Stephenson Sr., 90, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, December 2, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Alice United Methodist Church, located at 4617 Alice Road in Center Point. Burial will take place at a later date.
Harold was born on May 31, 1934, in Center Point, the son of Spencer and Clista (Schmickle) Stephenson. He was a 1952 graduate of Alburnett High School. Harold served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. On July 29, 1956, Harold was united in marriage to Donna Hand in Alburnett, Iowa. He farmed the land near Center Point and Harold was a member of Alice Church and the American Legion Post in Troy Mills.
Harold will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Harold is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna Stephenson; three children, Harold Stephenson Jr., Mary Lazenby, and Terry (Shelly) Stephenson, all of Center Point; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard (Donna) Stephenson of Woodburn, Oregon; and one sister, Lois Martin of Marion, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Stephenson; brother, Wayne Stephenson; great-great-grandson, Parker James Kelsey; and brother-in-law, Lyod Martin.
