Hazel I. Neff, 94, a resident of Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Postville, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Greenfield Cemetery, Tunnel City, Wisconsin. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include three nieces, Phyllis Manske of Marietta, Georgia, Jeanne Woods of Sparta, Wisconsin, and Mernie Stephens of Omaha, Nebraska; and a nephew, Richard Day of Prairie DuChien, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Theodore Kampman; and two sisters, Lucille Kampman and Marjorie Day.

She was born on January 13, 1911, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of William Nelson and Ella Hastings Kampman. A resident of the Cedar Rapids and Marion area since 1933, she worked for many years in the office and sales for Barney?s Paints, until she retired in 1976. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
