Henry G. “Hank” Pagel, 75, died Friday, July 10, 2009. Memorial Services: 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with military honors. Inurnment: at a later date.
Survivors include two brothers, Warren Pagel of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Norman (Nancy) Pagel of Avila Beach, California; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Eugene.
Hank was born March 10, 1934, the son of Orien and Lena (Buchmeyer) Pagel in Riceville, Iowa. A graduate from the University of Iowa, he served four years in the United States Navy. Hank was an engineer for Rockwell Collins. After his retirement, he spent many years in Texas. Hank always appreciated interactions with all of his friends over the years.
