Jason Michael Stephenson, 23, of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, October 20, 2005, at his parent?s home, following a long illness. Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where friends may call from noon until service time on Monday. Rev. Jay Jentink will officiate. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Diane Stephenson of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Tracy Stephenson of Palo and Terry (Rachel Marie) Stephenson of Cedar Rapids; his grandparents, Bob and Rita Takes of Cascade and Mary Stephenson of Melborne; three uncles, Cliff Takes and Allen Takes, both of Cascade and Steve Takes of Cedar Rapids; and four cousins, Chelsea, Brittney, Robbie and Shae.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Sybil Takes.
Jason was born May 27, 1982, the son of Donald and Diane (Takes) Stephenson, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate of the 2000 Jefferson High School Class, Jason loved music and playing the piano.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Jason.
