Jatavias Cooper, 18, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in Mississippi. A visitation will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Jatavias was born December 31, 2003, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Andrea Cooper and Eric Wright. He was a handyman who enjoyed doing odd jobs with his uncle.
Survivors include his parents, Andrea Cooper and Eric Wright; and his siblings, Eric, Mariah, Maria, Aaliyah, and Khloe Wright, and Sharay Walter.
