Jeanine T. Decker

Jeanine was born on February 23, 1964, in Chicago. She married Troy Decker on December 31, 1992. She is survived by her husband, Troy, her daughter, Kristan Kelleher, and her brothers, Frank (Diane) Flider and Robert (Jean) Flider. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Flider.

Jeanine was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was known for her strength, smile and deep love for those she held close.

Jeanine lived most of her life in Mattoon, IL, where she made many strong friendships. Her favorite activities included celebrating her Czech heritage, riding on the back of her husband's Harley Davidson, going to concerts and just being around the ones she loved (and her dog, Harley).

Jeanine was a hard worker. She was about to hit a big milestone at Walmart, her 35th anniversary. She was a strong woman who faced life's challenges head-on. Her laughter brought so much joy to everyone. She will be missed more than words can say.

A celebration of life will be held in Mattoon at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network)) or American Cancer Society.
