Jeffery Meister

Jeffery Meister, 58, of Ryan, Iowa, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
Jeffery was born July 24, 1963, in Boscobel Wisconsin, the son of James and Jean Ann (Ricken) Meister. He attended West Delaware High School in Manchester. Jeffrey worked at Delaware County Courthouse, Vassey Construction, Iowa Ham, and then Medplast. He enjoyed spending time outdoors going mushroom hunting, fishing, working in his flower garden, and playing with his cat Bootsie. Jeffrey also appreciated going out to eat where they had “good food” and spending time with his friends and family.
Jeffery is survived by his children, Josh Meister, Dawson Miller, Shayla Cole; granddaughter, Danica Rose; sister, Joan Meister; aunt, Karen (Dave) Baculis; cousins, Mary (Mick) Traver, Dawne (Randy) Hammes, Terry (Leesa) Meister, Maria Haight, David Baculis Jr., and Jane Dean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Ann Meister; grandparents, Philip and Hazel Ricken, Ray and Pearl Meister.
