Jeffry A. Knight, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, March 1, 2010, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2204 26th Street N.W., Cedar Rapids. Memorial Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; mother, Shirley Knight; children, Tracy (Tami) Borkowski, Angie (Todd) Baker and Annie (Mark) Beasley; grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Jarrett, Tyler, Nick and Ericka; two brothers, Mike and David; one sister, Susan; and his mother-in-law, Lorraine Anderson, also surviving numerous friends and relatives.
Jeffry was preceded in death by his father, Willis; and son, Matthew Borkowski.
Born January 26, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Jeffry was the son of Willis and Shirley (Ross) Knight. On November 18, 1989, he married Dee. He owned and operated Knight Concept Carpet Cleaning.
A memorial fund has been established in Jeffry’s memory.
