Jeremy Everett Henderson, 33, of Toddville, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, from complications of a motorcycle accident. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at First Assembly of God, 3233 Blairs Ferry Road NE, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Rick Gail. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 4 ?" 9 p.m. Wednesday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include a son, Brennan Henderson of Center Point; his father, Steve Henderson (Peggy Stewart) of Toddville; his girlfriend, Jes Harrington of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Elizabeth Otto (Bryan Walker) of Cedar Rapids and Sabrina (Sam) Koch of Coggon; his grandfather, John Henderson of Toddville; three nephews, Josh, Kaleb and Garrett; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan.
Jeremy was born June 19, 1974, the son of Steve and Susan (Ruland) Henderson in Cedar Rapids. He was a 1992 graduate of Alburnett High School and had worked for thirteen years at Coca-Cola Bottling.
Jeremy enjoyed riding his motorcycle and deer hunting at the cabin. He was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His family, especially his son, Brennan, was paramount in his life. Jeremy was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jeremy's memory.
