Jimmie R. Snodgrass, 79, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at North Brook Manor, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sons, James (Debbie) and Vernon (Terri) all of Cedar Rapids; daughters, Delores Oritz and Rosemary both of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Landersott of Kennesaw, Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; and a brother, Vernon.
Jimmie was born on January 10, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Walter and Irene (Hunter) Snodgrass. He served in the United States Air Force. Jimmie worked at Vickers Station in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, playing steel guitar and playing the slots.
