John William Bennington, 68, of 1372 8th Ave., died suddenly, Monday, January 16, 2006. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Volga. Inurnment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elkader.
Survivors include Richard Noska of Marion; five sisters, Shirley, Rita, Patty, Catherine and DiAnn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lucy; and a brother, James.
John was born July 29, 1937, in Elkader, the son of Charlie and Josephine (Neylan) Bennington.
Memorials may be directed to the Marion Food Pantry in John?s memory.
