Karen Ann Dellinger, 76, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Per her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Karen was born on May 6, 1949, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Elizabeth (Franks) Eib. On May 21, 1967, Karen was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Carney Dellinger in Battle Creek. She was self employed in her own cleaning company for many years before retirement. She was involved in the Girl Scouts and enjoyed camping and hummingbirds. Karen loved motorcycle trips with Chuck, visiting the casino, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Karen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Karen is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Chuck Dellinger; four children, Timothy (JeNelle) Dellinger, Kristen Roe, Dena (Christine) Guido, and Michele (Bryan) Miller; six grandchildren, Brandon (Samantha) Dellinger, Courtney (Chris) Wahler, Dakota Miller, Kyrstin (Roy) Herpin, Lindsey Roe, and Austin Miller; six great-grandchildren, Michael Dellinger, Clementine Wahler, Charlotte Herpin, Madelyn Dellinger, Haisley Herpin, and Raiden Herpin; brother, Donald Eib; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anthony Eib; sisters, Denise Alday, Paula Lehrke, and Darlene Correnti; and son-in-law, Dale Roe.
