Kathleen Struck

Kathleen Struck, 79, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. In agreement with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Vinton Train Depot in Vinton, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Kathleen was born on July 13, 1946, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robin and Alberta Vest. She was united in marriage to James Struck. Kathleen was a long-time employee of Rockwell Collins until her retirement. She enjoyed monthly lunches with her Rockwell Collins family, crafting, baking cakes for special occasions, and above all else, spending time with her family, especially during holidays. Kathleen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, James Struck; children, Angie McFarland, Kayleen McFarland, Dave (Brenda) McFarland; six grandchildren; and sisters, Bernice Wilson, and Carol (Dick) Wood.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert McFarland; parents; sisters, Emma and Donna; brother, Robert; and her dog, Happy.
