Kathleen Joyce Wiebold, 67, of 920 Krumboltz Drive, Marion, died at her home on Sunday, December 18, 2005. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Marion, by the Rev. Thomas Hedtke. Burial: Ohio Cemetery, rural Ladora, Iowa. Friends may call at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, from 4 -8 p.m. today (Tuesday.)
Survivors include her children, Diana (Gerald) Graves of Victor, Bev (Terry) Wellner of Marion, Tony (Wendy) Wiebold of Shellsburg, Dwayne (Tammy) Wiebold of Central City and Teresa (Jeff) Ellerby of Marion; eight grandchildren, Christina, Tiffany, Nathan Nicholas, Nathan Dale, Jeremy, Sabrina, Jamee and Jessica; and a sister, Janice Wiebold Edwards of Conroy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; two infant sisters; and a brother-in-law, Roy Wiebold.
Joyce was born February 20, 1938, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of John Francis Merritt Slaymaker and Dorothy Lou Allen Slaymaker. In 1956, she graduated from HLV High School in Victor. On June 23, 1956, she was united in marriage to Dale Wiebold in Marengo, Iowa. Dale died in 1985. Joyce was employed at Square D for over thirty years. She was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joyce?s memory.
