Kathryn L. Mercuriali, 81, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at the care center, following short illness: Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at the funeral home. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her husband, Gino; a daughter, Susan Coleman; and two sisters, Doris Mote and Margaret Annis, both of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald Coleman; a daughter, Pamela; a sister, Ellen; and a brother, Walter.
Kathryn was born February 3, 1924, the daughter of Hugh and Bertha (Mann) O?Connor, in Central City, Iowa. On July 10, 1943, she married Donald Coleman. He died in 1973. Kathryn married Gino Mercuriali on November 22, 1980, in Cedar Rapids. For 24 years, she worked for Cherry Burrell.
