Kathy Sue Kimbrough

Kathy Sue Kimbrough, 60, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 23rd,2026, at 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. A private inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with family.

Kathy was born on April 20, 1966, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of David Allen and Mary JoAnn (Kretz) Kreiman. She was a graduate of Regis High School and later attended Hamilton Business College. On December 23, 2005, Kathy was united in marriage to Alfred Ray Kimbrough. Kathy devoted many years to her work as the office manager for Certified Pest Control. She was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Kathy found joy in spending time with her family and friends, caring for her beloved dogs, enjoying westerns, dancing, music, nature, and animals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathy is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Justin (Amanda) Hepker; grandsons, Maddux and Mason; mother, JoAnn Kreiman; sister, Kerry Kreiman; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and fur-babies, Thumper and Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her father, David; her husband, Ray; and her beloved fur-babies, Bo and Rocky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Justin Hepker.
