Katie V. Sweetland, 89, a resident of Winslow House Care Center, Marion, died there Saturday, December 27, 2003, after a short illness. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Vogt of Walker and Judy Dades of California; two sisters, Mary Lukas of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Edna Lewis of Colorado; and a brother, Willard Buck of Colorado.
Katie was born October 26, 1914, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Walter and Bessie Olsen Buck.
